Please read these Terms of Service (“Terms”) carefully before using the Reciprocity platform operated by Reciprocity (“we,” “us,” or “our”). By creating an account or using our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Reciprocity, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old, have the legal capacity to enter into binding agreements, and agree to comply with these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our platform.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate and complete information when creating your account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access at networkwithreciprocity@gmail.com.

3. User Content

You retain ownership of content you post on Reciprocity (profile information, bio, photos, messages). By posting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, reproduce, and distribute that content within the platform for the purpose of operating our services. You represent that you have the rights to any content you post and that it does not infringe third-party rights.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Post false, misleading, or fraudulent profile information.
• Harass, threaten, or harm other members.
• Use the platform to spam, solicit, or send unsolicited commercial messages.
• Scrape, harvest, or systematically collect data from the platform without written permission.
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to any portion of the platform or its infrastructure.
• Impersonate any person or entity.
• Use the platform for any unlawful purpose or in violation of applicable law.

5. Intellectual Property

The Reciprocity name, logo, platform design, and all original content created by us are our exclusive intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without prior written consent.

6. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine to be harmful to the platform or community. You may delete your account at any time from your dashboard settings. Termination does not relieve you of obligations incurred prior to termination.

7. Disclaimers

Reciprocity is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, error-free operation, or that the platform will meet your expectations.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Reciprocity and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the platform, including damages for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total cumulative liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us, if any, in the twelve months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in San Diego County, California.

10. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on this page and, where appropriate, by email. Your continued use of the platform following the effective date of changes constitutes your acceptance.
